I can find short ones like are used for pipe welding but
couldn't find any tall ones for automotive lifts.
So......I made my own:

No wonder you can't get your trucks finished.
I have the same "problem" myself. They call it ADHD these days.
They called it "your-dad-didn't-beat-you-enough syndrome" back in my day.
Nice work, BTW!

Yep, mission creep seems to creep in on all of my projects.
First the lift, a bargain at five hundred bucks. Then it was the pad
extensions and adapters, then I wanted a set of stands, now I'm not
happy with any of the hangers the hardware store has so I'm thinking
of making my own to hang the stands on the wall. Getting that lift up and
usable has turned into my summer project.

Got gas....up to the house this summer, not complaining about a personal problem,
ya see...I know you Carl and I know what you’d do with that statement. So...I have to
get it out to the barn and get a furnace installed after I plumb in the house for natural gas.
The kitchen was all electric when we moved in and we hate it.
Still gonna build that English wheel this year and my winter project is still to put together
one of those Cyclekarts. Somewhere in between, I gotta change out the spindle in my
Bridgeport mill and finish up insulating and sheeting the inside of my horse barn/shop. Got
a pile of Ash logs waiting to be slabbed up for lumber with my Alaskan saw mill. Most of my
fire wood for the winter is split, been sneaking that in during my idle time. Need to get a
coat of paint on the house before the cold weather sets in also, that will keep a smile on
the face of my “big old wife”.
Boredom in retirement doesn’t seem to be one of my problems.
Gotta go, suns about up and the mutt needs to take me for our morning constitutional down
by the creek.

I'll just say, Good to hear from you DG! I thought you were being just a bit too much of a stranger lately.

Great looking stands,
I really am going back and forth about a lift.

not sure if if it should be a drive on an arm lift as Denny has.

any opinions ?

edit
For further discussion about lift types and opinions please use that thread, not this one about stands.
