Original was 0.004~0.006.

An additional 0.003 is acceptable.

If the clearance doesn't exceed 0.009, you will be OK.

Jon.

Hello carbking thank you very much for the information. I needed to know that because I have just purchase a rebuilt carb from a "carb rebulder" and when I got it home and looking at it I noticed it seemed to have more play in the throttle shaft than the carb I was replacing. So I mounted it in my mill and measured the shaft movement with a dial indicator, the rebuilt had .012 and my original had .007. Now I have something to go to bat with. Kevin
