Has anyone found and run 1.5"
or 2.0" wheel spacers on these trucks? I'd like to widen and slightly lower my stance.

I ran adapter plates that are 6 bolt to 5 bolt that are about an inch thick and it really changes the suspension as far as road wander goes. Now the plan is 5 bolt front drums to get the suspension the way it was designed.

Wheel spacers are generally not the best idea if there is any other way.
How about wheels with different offset?

Spacers that big should be illegal. They make deadly dangerous changes in the suspension geometry, cause all sorts of unpredictable handling problems in turns, and create unsafe wheel bearing loading that threatens to break axle shafts and cause front wheel bearing failures. They also make the old trucks look butt-ugly with the wheels sticking out of the fender wells!

Other than that, go for it, but please invest in a trailer to haul your truck to and from car shows. That way you won't be a hazard to all of us who have to share the public roads with you!
