Inliners is how I got the start to my old truck computer education back in '97. I met and became friends with Jack Halton who drove up his beloved '51 GMC with a 302 up to Latimore, PA every year for the Eastern regional held annually at the old dirt track and museum. Also met Leo Santucci and his wife along with Tom Langdon who would do a Tech Talk every year.

Great to see you Texans are still raising the flag.

Y'all missed a good one today. Leo Santucci, author of Chevrolet Inline Six-Cylinder Power Manual attended. I was at the wrong end of the table to hear much of the conversation but I bet it was good.

The Nor-Tex Chapter meets at Outlaw's BBQ first Sunday of every month. There is also a South Texas chapter and a TX Gulf Coast chapter. I don't know about their meetings.

Both of those are really close to me. Just sent an email to the local contact...we'll see what happens.

Texas Gulf Coast Inliners' Facebook post regarding this month's meeting:

"Our meeting this month will be at the Hemi-Hideout, in Brookshire. This is a superb collection of Mopar Muscle Cars, vintage Mopar cars and trucks, as well as, a large collection of tractors and ag related equipment. The date is this Saturday, August 13th. Our scheduled arrival time is 9am. I'm suggesting we meet in Brookshire and cruise to the location as a group. There is a grocery store on the southwest corner of FM359 and Hwy90. There should be plenty of room for us to park. Try to be there around 8:30am or before, we will leave the parking area around 8:45. It is just a short distance to the venue. Those of you coming out I-10, take the FM359 exit and turn right. Turn left at the traffic light and go to the second light, which is FM359. The store is on the left. "

Not yet. I literally have my filled out application and check in an envelope that needs a stamp to be on its way.

I'm on the Facebook group for the Texas Gulf Coast Inliners.

This month it's New Year Day. The usual place and time. Start the year off right. Wear your party hat.
