| | | | Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 17 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 17 | I have a '53 GMC 1/2 ton with its stock Muncie 4-speed. Bought a 10" clutch kit thinking it would fit--does not. The pressure plate assembly is too deep. I'd like to keep the bigger clutch since the engine is a 302 with about 175hp. A shallower throwout bearing might cure the fit issue. A later bell housing if available may do the trick--need help/advise. Thanks
