Last Saturday I took old Audra my 1941 Chevy to her first car show. Although it was not the first show I had attended, it was the first time I have brought a vehicle to display. I really didn't know what to expect, and the prospect of baking in the sun all day didn't sound so appealing. Fortunately it turned out to be great fun, and the day went by like a blur. I was parked among a sea of high end hot rods and muscle cars, the tall 41 4x4 sticking her head above most of the other vehicles. While eating lunch some 200 feet from my truck, I monitored the crowd looking at all of the neat iron. One thing that I noticed was that while many people strolled by most vehicles, nearly everyone stopped for a moment to check out Audra. Stovebolts rock!
I also saw a very fine 1953 half ton owned my another fellow stovebolter, good to place a face with other stovebolters.
