But need some help. The frame is a 1946 3/4 or a ton, cab is a 41 from a 1 1/2 ton. The steering column tube is about 2 to 2 1/2 inches too low for the tube perch. I see no clocking adjustment on the steering gear housing. I have the cab mounted in the correct holes, all appears where it looks like it should. See last picture.

I don't know the answer to your problem.i have all of that apart on my truck ,but don't remember how it all bolted on.will the steering box rotate where it is bolted to the frame? Like I said I just can't remember how it all works. Your truck looks good and is a little farther along that mine. I added a IFS to mine with a power rack,so I won't be using the stock steering column.I see you are in ohio also , I am in the south east to the ohio river.

It looks to me ,that the steering box mounts on the inside of the frame and bolts up through the top of the frame. The mount appears to be a clamp,that if the bolts are loosened ,will let the box rotate to where you need it to be..

Here is a picture of my 46 3/4 ton interior with the original steering drop. It measures 2 1/8" on center from dash. There is also a brace that attaches from column drop to firewall to stiffen/support. Hope this helps. Have fun and good luck

You guys are correct and thanks. Loosen the two top of frame bolts and it pivots easily. Done.
