I'm going to paint the other cross-braces with Zero-Rust like the frame but I forget if the rear brace needs to match the body color. Any help? | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 709 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: May 2001 Posts: 709 | Can't say for sure but if its like the 59 it should be painted body color.

I did however put a roll pan on which cleaned in up and covered it nicely. There is about an inch of contrast between the roll pan and tailgate, but the contrast looks good. If you are putting a factory bumper or just leaving nothing on the back, be sure to paint it body color. | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 61 Member | Member Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 61 | Articat, whose got good roll pans for 49 chevy, I'm looking for one, i've looked at a few but i wasn't real happy with the roll or the way they tied up to the sides!
