I have always had trouble with my 55.1 doors not shutting. I noticed it has the 1 piece stamping for the door striker. It looks like 2 piece in the catalogs. Could this be my problem, someone put an early model striker in this door? Are the aftermarket ones good or should I look for NOS? Thanks - Scott

NOS is always better, followed by slightly used. The aftermarket ones aren't terribly good.

Thanks for the tip! On these things that have to fit just right I am always sceptical. - Scott
