My Power Wagon compadres took me on quite the adventure to the Outer Banks ... Wow ... Pictures here The M-37 made it from Carova, NC all the way to Ocracoke and back to Nag's Head. What a great truck! Only a couple of issues with a clogged fuel filter and vapor lock ... but all went well and it was quite an adventure with my Dodge Brothers!

Carolyn was looking at your pix's with me and asked if I remember when we went there back in the 70's. I did but did not remember what we were driving, we went in the 69 Dodge 3/4 ton with cab over camper.. so long ago but a lot of fun, it was a great truck and drove so well with the camper.. thanks for bring back a lot of good memories

If I had known that John was travelling from Hippie Haven, NC southwards, I would have driven 11 east miles on rte 158 to wave as they passed from Southern Shores to Kitty Hawk on rte 12.

Rode right by the Gravedigger coming and going on this trip. Saw the beat up 'Mater, too. Those things looked ... rugged (and not in the good sense ... )  On Sunday, the traffic to Duck from Kitty Hawk was pretty backed up. You could have walked to the sound, swum across and caught up with us faster than driving over to see us on 12.  If we do an OBX GabFest, I vote for doing it in the off season ...
