I am replacing my old dist with a new one and noticed the old one has a mod and sn on the breaker plate mod 1112403 sn 8h14 . does this give any info on age and plant of mfg ? Just wondering. Its from a 235 circa 1957.

I believe the 8h14 is the date code.
8- 1958
h- 8th month Aug
14- day
It looks like the original for a 59.
