My 3100 P/U is stock- 3-speed and all. My speedometer has started to show lower and lower speeds as the truck warms up and finally drops to zero while driving. Next day, same action. Needle doesn't jump around as I've seen in other old rides.

Have followed drive cable from instrument to transmission and everything looks O.K.

any Ideas?

Get some speedo cable lube from your local FLAPS and follow the directions. Hope this works for you.
