New to the forum. Looks like the place to be! I'm restoring (complete frame off) 1950 6400 flatbed to go into service delivering hay. Lots of heavy lifting done so far and now rebuilding the brake system. Have broken rear brake shoe return springs and am trying to source originals or get a cross to something available. Any suggestions?

welcome to the site! I went to a local brake and clutch supply shop and got some numbers for my 58 2-ton. They did not have any in stock but I ended up finding a new set on Ebay. If that doesn't work out, you may also try posting an ad in the parts wanted section

Just installed a pair of the ME148 return springs on my 39 1 1/2 Ton COE and the fit like advertised.
