I'm working on my 2 ton, and I tried to remove these bushings http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/attachment.php?attachmentid=1546047&stc=1&d=1466783628 by heating them up and driving them out. They didn't budge.

3 questions:

1. More heat and more power to remove them, or something else?

2. Does anyone know where I can find replacements?

3. I have read that the rear spring hangers, pins and bushings are the same on the 3/4 ton up to the 2 ton, but what about the front suspension components? Are 3/4 ton front shackles and spring eye bolts interchangeable on all that isn't 1/2 ton?

Thanks in advance; I look forward to gleaning your knowledge and wisdom smile

If you can a hack saw blade through the hole, try cutting a slot through the bushing then fold it in on it self.
