It will bolt up and latch when you slam the hood.I don't know about the trim, etc, but it will fit. I think some Stovebolter are fooled by the big difference in the shape of the grill. A little story for you, I bought a complete 54 parts truck. I have a friend who owns a 50 that has been in his family since 1950. He needed a hood. I sold him the hood from my 54 parts truck and it's on it now. So again, I'm tell you, it's the same. Been there, done that.
