I wondered if putting in a brake booster would provide better braking on my original drum brake system. Anyone have experience with this. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 Crusing in the Passing Lane | | Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | A booster, hydroboost, will require a power steering pump to be added, or a vacuum booster will both make the brakes easier to push, but not make them any stronger or more powerful.

Ed Power brakes do not make the brakes work better. They just make it easier to press the brake pedal. Jeffrey | | |
