Another stovebolter and I are looking at the center section from a 1959 GMC one ton to replace the 5.14s in my 1959 chevy. The gear count is 37 & 8 which equals a 4.625 ratio. I have never heard of this ratio. How unusual is it? Any comments?

I think all GM used in those years was 32-7 and 36-7. I would count again.
