I want to adjust the lower hinge outward just a tad for when the door is currently closed, it's outer surface is more inward as compared to the outer surface of the pillar.

I also can't imagine tweaking the hinges.

I enlarged the holes horizontally....can't imagine bending those hinges w any chance for success. Good luck.
