We've set the date for 2016 Homecoming at Stovebolt HQ -- 6-8 May, 2016.

All the details and more on the ODSS Side Lot. And an on-going list of who's coming from where in case you want to hitch a ride.

Consider yourselves invited!

Slide show of last year's event

Homecoming is an annual event that takes place on the main campus of the Stovebolt.com headquarters. It's a weekend of wrenching and learning from each other as we tackle various projects together.

Folks start rolling in Friday and we wrap up Sunday, but of course, you are free to come and go as you please. And if you have something that needs attention from the assembled brain trust, bring it with you!

There are hotels close by in California, MD and we have plenty of space onsite for tents and RVs (but no hook ups).

address is 41370 Friendship Ct, Mechanicsville, MD.

Hope to see you there/here!

John

I'm planning on coming late Friday or early Saturday, depending on how soon I can get back from the out of town project I'm working on, and staying through Sunday morning. This will be the first homecoming that I'm planning to drive my '54 ton and a half there from Fairfax, VA. It's a long drive with the 5.43 rear end and original drive train and engine. Looking forward to it.

You must pay a late fee of washing a bunch of silverware one day ... How's that work?

Only kidding. NO NEVER TOO LATE. We even have "drop bys" -- we have an idea of who's coming but never a true head count until Sunday night when everyone has gone ... or ... whenever everyone leaves.

Come on! We'll add you to the list. We certainly have enough food. Are you going to stay and camp out or just come and go?

Okay. Tim and John got here about about 7 pm. So, Tim has had a tour while it was still light. Met a few neighbors. We had dinner and a few beers and now we are going to bed! Tim has been up for a long, long time.

Will check in with everyone tomorrow.

I think we are good. The fridge is stuffed and I'll be feeding five tonight, that should make a good dent. But Bread will be arriving with food. Billy Marlow just showed up with the dogs, burgers, etc.

If you want to bring something, bring a cooler with ice and maybe a case (that's 24 right) of water. I haven't had a chance to get more water. It's chilly down here so everyone's been drinking coffee.

We'll have as many coolers around as we possibly can. Feel free to stop on your way if it's not too late. I'm sure they'll be up for a while. Except Don. He's really tired.

Have a safe trip.

Peg

Hi John & Peggy. I got back early from a work trip and was hoping to swing by Saturday mid-morning if that's alright. It would be my son and I - unfortunately we'll only be able to stay for a few hours but it will be great to see you all again.

I'm good at washing silverware!
