I fixed you img to a link to your image in your signature line. Why not write up a story about your truck and then you'll get the whole package with the link to the Gallery page and any photo site you have.

To clarify the truck story, I bought this truck from the son-in-law of a Texas Farmer. The son brought it to San Diego (where I was stationed at time). Only modifications when purchased were a 250 vice original inline six engine. My daughter was 4 then (now 40) and helped me clean-up the old truck for some primer and we drove it daily until moving to NAS (Naval Air Station) Lemoore CA. I started modifying truck then to what I wanted, but between family and deployment delays, moved truck to Georgia in parts where I started on it again. But then 9/11 and deployments with Navy and Marines, then base shutdown, separation, and finally here in New Orleans area. Got myself a new wife, nice home here, and a great job, so getting back to my old "Spruce Moose" project truck. Divorce set me back half of everything and cost of first house (plus), but keeping positive and moving forward. Sorry for if a bit winded, as direct to the point I could update this. We have a lot of father-son but only a few father-daughter stories. Hopefully, you'll be able to retrieve some of those pictures, too. Know what it's like to leave your truck behind when change of duty. We were fortunate. When we left Ft. Harrison (Indiana) at DINFOS, the local police barracks wanted our '39 Chevy 1/2-ton. They had a display with an old cop car. They put a still in the back of our Chevy with the copy car tailing it. Was cute ... and was safe for the three years we had to *suffer* thru a tour in Hawaii!  (Left in December, too ... when the roads were frozen. It was great. We were all "wintered up" in clothes when we left Indiana, and dropped off all that stuff to Goodwill when we arrived at LAX.) Will catch up with you. Peg

Good story and can't say any of my "TDY" to Hawaii was bad, and liberty if aboard ship (carrier) was always a pleasantry ;-)
After 13 Navy carriers and time with Marines (retired Navy & "Tech Rep") took a toll on family life. Can't say I hear from son or daughter, (their choice not mine). Finally working a desk as the grey beard grows in a job I like here in the South away from the cold North (except family visits).
Once I can collect more of my things (like photo albums & truck, etc.), I will scan and post more info to start an album on this ol' "Spruce Moose." I have some pix of some projects (just not complete with this truck - yet) on FB anyone interested.
