WELL...NOW COMES THE FUN !!!.....IT SURE LOOKED BETTER ALL TOGETHER...LOL...JUST LIKE IT RUN WHEN I PARKED IT ....LOL,,,,,,,QUEST!...DOES THE MIDDLE CHANNEL OF THE SPLIT WINDOW ON A 50' COME OUT OR STAY ...AND IT LOOKS LIKE I'LL HAVE TO REBUILD THE THICKNESS OF THE WINDOW FRAME FOR THE RUBBER TO FIT BACK INTO ....WEEWW!!!GLAD I HAVE THE WINTER TO DO THIS ...CAN'T WORK ON THE HOUSE ,OUT IN THE COLD ....LOL....DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A GOOD WAY TO TELL THE WIFE ....LOL.....GARY

Which channel are you referring to ? There is a finish strip on the outside and a trim piece on the inside. In between there is a flat metal divider that locates the assembly. On my truck, the inner piece was spot welded to the diver strip.

the inner is tacked in as well...i'm going to get new glass for it and replace the rubbers...do ya know if the winshield replace is going to be very hard ???......i first need to repair the window trim around the window because of the amount of rust ....i'm linning up a welder now for the repair...thanks for the reply........gary
