hello everyone , to attend the reunion, does the vehicle have to be in original shape ? or can the running gear be updated or any other modifications ? curious about attending . thank you 1pete1

To attend any of the StoveBolt get togethers, all you need, is to be there.
If you can bring any type of GM product, running or not, that would be nice. But not required!
The distance you will be going will win you the long distance title.
Unless Tim and Karen make it back again from NSW Australia.
More info will be posted well in advance and this is not just a guy thing. My wife will not let me go without her again. She has a good time and she is a shy person.
John and Peggy should be there again this year, along with some other very friendly folks that make you feel really welcome.

It IS a great event. Your club has done an incredible job to pull this off every year and I know it isn't easy. And you always make the Stovebolt group feel like VIPs!! Thanks for that!

Once we finish up Homecoming here, that will be the next MAJOR Stovebolt event. If we could get a solid one started on the West coast, that would make it nice. Maybe someday. Then we'd have East, middle and West "hot spots" at least.

for those of you that have not been there ,john & peggy have a meeting during our get -together and they have several gifts /hand outs !!we will bring some stuff also, it all is car show,auto parts store and company give away stuff we acquired all was free ,if you got something bring it ,i find most of my parts stores have ink pens,& scratch pads,bottles of sample waxs,fluids,tools my wife pat & i will try to get some type of goodie bags set -up for everyone ! hope it will be OK ?? thanks mike

We were missing some key players, but made up for it with other people jumping in.
My goal this year is to help relieve John and Peg of some of the behind the scene duties, to free them up and enjoy the reunion.

hi group ! pat & i are working on goodie bags -all trinket stuff -ink pens,note pads,just some good neat junk anyway we will be there early at" mogos garage "hoping there will be somewhat of a "procession " to the aldersons ?? should be a good time there also ! LIKE A BIG SHOW THERE ! HOPING to make it by "tony smiths " shop sometime ??? tonys a nice guy w/ lots of projects going on !!!! looking at his used parts racks is like going to "" 60-66 chevy truck heaven""anyway see everybody somewhere around "riverside mo. Don, this is Pat. Do you need me to bring the raffle tickets like I did last year? Are we doing the door prizes? Anything else you can think of let me know.

Yes we will be doing the door prizes and will need the tickets.
I'll have two awnings, extra chairs, two tables, a Stovebolt flag and two U.S. flags.
Leo is bringing The Canadian Flag, a Australian flag and another Stovebolt flag.
Looks like John and Peg will not be there again this year and I'll be coordinating the event again.
If you and Mike can bring another canopy, that would be great!
I've been asking others, to help out with some of the tasks that will need to be done.
Tim, as chair of the meeting for one.
Talked to the BBQ vender today and it is the same one from last year. He should treat us good again this year.
T-Shirts will be there Friday night and I'm hoping you, Vicki and the Sista's will take the lead on that.
Ordered 76 T-Shirts and I still need to make a list of who ordered what. We will also have extras.
Mike and Frank handle the parking of our group.
And the list goes on and on.
Peggy should have been a cowgirl, cause, she really knows how to rope people into doing things.

I'll Pm you and Mike on some other details.
Both of you were a great help last year, and I know I can depend on you again this year.

Don, I am bringing an awning. If we can park my motorhome close it also has a large awning attached to it.

I don't think you will be able to park your motorhome with the group because we will be in a main area of the show.
It's only about 60 yards from the park restrooms and gets a lot of foot traffic.
You and Stranger (Frank) need to pair up as he and his boys will be camping Friday and Saturday nights.
They can keep an eye on your camper and you can use your truck for after hours transportation.
3 to 4 free standing awnings should be enough.

Wow, this is shaping up great. It's really hard to be the "organizer" and actually enjoy the show. You all have always been great to pitch in to help. Especially the "old crew" that has been coming for years kinda know how things normally flow. So that will be a big help to Don.

Anywhere you want to help, or have an idea about something, just PM Don and let him know. I know one rule of thumb on the site -- if you've got a great idea and YOU are willing to DO IT, we are usually game. As a repository for great ideas, well, there are stacked pretty high in a pending folder ... somewhere.

Y'all are doing great! We want lots of pictures and video. This is the crowning event of our non-club group!!!
