I have search the form for the answer but can't quite figure out what way is right conflicting ways
springs go under the frame support seems to be confirmed
the 2 rubber gaskets
one say's they both go under the support between the support and frame
the other post says one between the support and frame
and another under frame and then springs
any idea's Thank you

Washers 3/8" X 1 1/4 diameter (6)
Lock washers 3/8" (2)Place bolt with washer through radiator support frame DO BOTH BOLTS AT SAME TIMEUnder support frame place both rubber pads on bolts Next place bolts through frame Next install washer (regular 3/8" washer) Next install spring Next install washer Next install lock washer Next install nut & tighten to secure radiator mounting frame to chassis There are 4 small bolts (1/4" X 3/4") that bolt the top of the radiator support rod to the "bull nose" plate. Harold 4/24/16 Add Photos of springs & washers plus support rod to fire wall. Spring, Washer & Support Rod

My '46 also came without the radiator springs. I found and had good results with hood fit etc with some after market springs. The bad news is I can't recall the specifics. I have checked my notes, receipts and done a search in the Stovebolt without success. Someone suggested a FLAPS and as I recall they gave a recommended application. I am thinking now it may have been a suggestion in Tim Sheridan's old website???? I recall buying them at NAPA, off a revolving display rack. As I recall, they were for a foreign import--maybe Nissan? The package came with the spring, two packages were needed, bolt, nut and washers. Only the spring was used and SAE bolts etc were substituted. Does any of this parts info ring any bells with anyone else? UPDATE:::  I found the receipt and did a search on the NAPA online catalog. The part number is: 600-3120 --Stud and nut kit. Hope this helps.

'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
