I have a 1/2 ton and am looking for an original axle for sale. Anyone have any ideas of where to pick one up?

I did a search on google for classic car salvage and was surprised how many results I got all over the country. I was looking for a bed for my 54 3100. I bet you can find one in your region and call them up. Even if they are on the opposite cost they will ship it to you.

Placing an eBay link in a thread has short-term value (and, your "link" does not work as you hoped it would).

You might want to either show the eBay" search-string you used to find the part.

Search for the following on eBay:

41 42 48 47 49 55 CHEVY GMC 1 2 TON PICKUP TRUCK FRONT STRAIGHT AXLE
