I am looking for the paint code and name for the Tan/brown paint used in the truck I have found the Gray one is that paint I should be using was there no Tan/Brown paint when I got my truck it was tan/brown. Any help would be appreciative.

hey dontcut yourself short I ask dumb questions most times but these guy dont care.if they can answer they will or possibly down the right path PPG has color charts and may or may not be able to help welcome to the Stovebolt!

Brothers Truck Parts has a brown/champaine slightly metallic paint that they say is correct for interior - check their website...Hope that question is not stupid, I had the same one, Good luck!

Jim Carter sells what is widely thought to be the best paint match and I ordered from there. It was a great match with the seat frame in my truck which I think is the original paint. He mixes it in an Acrylic Lacquer. My body shop guy matched that lacquer in a modern urethane and I was very pleased with the final result. The steering wheel, shiftlever(on the column) and the steering column were a slightly different shade. Jim Carter also has this. I also understand that Hirsch makes some very good paint matches.

So the Champagne is the Tan/brown and not Gray
The paint donsnt have to match anything just had the cab striped and it in primer.

I wanted to find the same thing, and I emailed Chevrolet about my 59 Impala. They responded very quickly with all of the colors and color numbers that my car came in. I was impressed.
