As per the registration I have 0899435344. I've tried the vin decoders but it's not coming up. Wheel base is 161 and frame might have been shortened. Good luck finding the Vehicle ID, if the metal tag is missing.
Hope for materman's suggestion to work out.
What is the Engine Serial Number, ESN (if you think it has the original engine). It is pressed into the block to the rear of the distributor.
There was no VIN in 1954 - sometimes/often the ESN was used for registration ID.
