I recently purchased a 235 that was apparently from a 1960 Chevrolet truck. The block casting number is 3769716, which from my research indicates it is in fact a 235 from a 1960 truck.
However, the serial number on the flat area next to the distributor is B512650. I can't seem to find any info based on this number.
Can anyone advise on where I can find further information on this serial number?
Kick it in the guts, Barry.
