Hey guys, I'm trying to get my front end together and I have run into a snag. The backstory: I bought the vehicle with no right front wheel/hub. Apparently the bearing had come apart and the wheel/hub fell off at some point when it was sitting. So I really only had the driver's side hub. Mistakenly thinking that it would be easy to get a new set of bearings I removed the bearings in the hub and tossed them. MISTAKE!
Then I purchased another hub from the internet to go on the passenger side, but it doesn't quite match the original hub. The bearing sizes are different and physically it's larger/heavier. I'm wondering if it came from a 2 ton whereas mine is a 1.5 ton.

Anyway, I'm hoping to track down another 1.5 ton hub, but so far I'm at a total loss on where to locate a correct set of inner and outer bearings for the hubs. I searched a lot of threads that I could find on here, but it's very difficult to pin down exactly what I need.

The only numbers I have for the bearings them selves is the inner race for the inner bearing, and the outer race for the outer bearing. They are both new departure numbers.

Inner race: 909526
Outer race: 909625

Any and all help would be so much appreciated. I need to get these bearings figured out so I can move on with my project!

Your parts manual will have the bearing number and often the manufacture number as well.

Are those manuals available online?

Hy 42bagged, the hub on the right in your first picture is for a 2 ton (bolt on dust cover), on the left is a 1 1/2 ton (threaded in dust cap). The outer bearing assembly should be 909025, the inner bearing assembly should be 909026. The bearing numbers translate as follows
909025 = B25, 909026 = B26
Timken B25 at RockAuto is $46.79, at Napa BRG B25 $109.00
I could not get B26 to cross at either site so you'll have to use your detective work for that one. As to the hub, try posting an ad in the parts wanted forum, hope that helps.

here is the link to old Chevrolet shop manuals and parts catalogue. Lots of helpful info when searching for parts or confirming part numbers for cross reference etc. Hope this helps out.
