Rebuilding the front spindle hubs on a 1951 3100. Between the flange that goes on the backside and the hub assembly, there is a gasket, that goes in between these before the wheel bolts are pressed in. What purpose would this serve? Somebody somewhere (back in time) decided it needed this gasket.
