Can anyone recommend what front clip I could look for to replace existing front clip? I had a weld shop do the install and if you didn't know what you were for it was hard to tell where he made the splice.

This was before the after market M2 style kits.It handles very well. If you are a good Fabricator and on a budget A Nova or Camaro sub,may be the way to go. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 6 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 6 | I am looking at changing out the rear suspension on my '50 chevy truck and wondering if a 1990 Chevrolet truck rear end would work? Q #2 -- Not without a lot of heavy duty fabrication.

The first one was from a 79 C10 that that I narrowed and bolted onto the frame. I used a set of dropped spindles and cut a coil and a half to bring the nose down. I went this route because it was relatively inexpensive, got the ifs for free, cost me $60"to narrow the crossmember & center link. I drove it for a couple of years but decided I wanted to lower it a bit more & run larger tires so I opted for the bolt on mustang ii. Just finished the swap last week. Love the stance & the ride is even better.

The limiting factor is width. It seems 57-60 inches is about right.Wheels with 4 3/4 back spacing. | | |
