Parts can be swapped between the two transmissions to configure it to what you require, if both transmissions are closed driveline type then they might be a direct swap. The only issue then might be the universal joint size but you should be able to swap output yokes, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | A 4 speed is wider so the brake master mount where it mounts to the transmission will need to be modified.
3 Speed and 4 speed mounts are different from the factory, but a 3 speed mount can be modified be shortening the mounting pedestals.
