With out regard to any current rules and regulations, where was the tail light ORIGINALLY placed on the 46 1/2 ton?

There was a single taillight placed on the rear license plate bracket (below the license plate) on the driver side of the vehicle. A passenger side taillight with a special bracket was optional equipment.
