A lot of you have accessed this site for years for wiring diagrams and other info for our trucks. Recent events have caused me to make some changes to that site:

FYI: I have changed the domain name of the now legendary information site "64moneypit.pages.qpg. com" to 6066ChevyTrucks.com hopefully this will be easier to remember and is more relevant to the site content. The site will be up in a few hours (it's 8:30 central) please let me know if you have any problems accessing it.

Pass it along to your friends and contacts and if you've never been there before, it's a virtual encyclopedia of wiring diagrams for our trucks.

Moderators, please let me know if I'm stepping on toes here. This site is not competition, it's been more like a supplement to your forum for the past 10 years.

No worries. We don't feel competitive ... there is a LOT of information out there and I don't think anyone person or site can do it all.

When you are up, we'll add you to the Lots O' Links page!

I don't have the ability to edit the original post. Users will need to add a - between 60 and 66 for the link to work. 60-66ChevyTrucks.com

6066ChevyTrucks.com might have been a different site that no longer works?

I thought it was posted here that someone had taken over that site - maybe it was spelt differently?

Maybe I am thinking of http://6066gmcguy.com/ ?

Hilander's 6066chevytrucks.com works now. I ran into a few hiccups getting it running again, but it's good now. I am in the process of re-building it in a more current site builder so it should be even easier to navigate and find the things you need.

You're right - I did take the site over for a friend who started it back in 2001 or so. I have been running it since 2006.

Well, this could be as confusing as when Chevy Duty had to change their name and then the whole mess with Classic Trucks and American Classic Truck Parts. Oh no! I don't want to think about it.

Tim, the 6066 GMC guy is none other than Mike "Jolly" Goodfellow's site. We are trying to finish up a Gallery page for him for his "was new" Rescue. Very cool - in the calendar at least.

I don't know who the 60-66chevytrucks is ... seems like it is just a forum. Although that truck on the main page with the camper on the back sure looks familiar. headscratch Joker would know. ohwell

Well, hopefully we at least have the link right for 64moneypit.

Are these two the same?

This one is red and signed by Greg but with a note at the very bottom by Dave. Long intro.

This one is blue and signed by Dave. Short intro.

Most of the stuff looks the same (list of years, year emblems - the actual image link is broken on Dave's).

The only thing I notice in the url is that the red one has www and the blue one does not.

When someone figures this out, it would be good to know.

Want something else to confuse you a little -- we have a 53 Moneypit on our site - named DAVE, who moderates the Engine Shop.

Ah, the Internet - information in process. smile

A fella named Dave started that site originally, as I recall. I do not recall his user name tho'.

Then he sold his truck, but didn't want all of the information he'd collected to disappear, so he asked hilander451(Greg) or I to take it over, but I guess hilander451 said yes first. grin

Lots of great information on there related to 60-66 trucks, I send 'new 60-66' people there all of the time, especially if they have wiring issues or need to replace their turn signal mechanism. Hilander451 has a great step by step article on there that he wrote.
