I am trying to find new rear wheel bearings. I have the manual that says inner is 188930 and outer is 188932. Are these correct? Reason I ask is when I look online the ones I see are the tapered kind. Thought mine were the ball bearing style.

Any information on part numbers or companies to get the ball bearing style would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen ball brgs. on the rear of one of these trucks. The original are conical shaped but the replacements are straight roller brgs. You should replace both inner & outer when replacing them.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Thanks. You are correct. They are roller bearings and not ball bearings. Any idea what the Timken part numbers would be to replace the inner and outer?

It helps a lot. Thanks for the information.

Is one brand better than another?
