It came out of a dually axle on a truck he's dropped a diesel into, and is still working on. And it's in really great shape! I'm so happy!

Current fleet (subject to change w/o notice)
\'49 GMC 3/4-Ton , 60 Austin Healey Frog-eye Sprite (some assembly required), 2011 Dodge Avenger, 2015 Jeep Cherokee. No, they don't all run.
My other ride is a (B737)no, (B767)no, A320.... Update... was Embraer E190, now Boeing B787.

Thanks for the nice words Highflyer! It was nice to meet you and your family, (my wife would have liked to meet you guys as well but she has been under the weather). Hope the rest of your trip went well and that you enjoy your new gears!

The detroit lockers were factory optional equipment in the eaton axles, though I don't know when they began offering them I have a couple of them here if someone is interested in one.

The earliest I show is 1962, RPO 677. My guide does not specify Eaton or Spicer, but I don't beleive Chevrolet was using Sicer axles in '62.

I actually found a Detroit Locker-equipped differential in my parents' garage that I had completely forgotten about when cleaning last week! It has (I think) 4.57 gears, I bought it to combine the DL into my 4.10 pumpkin.

Hey Pope,

New to the forum but I came across an old Post where you had a couple 4.10 Ring and Pinion sets for an HO72 rearend. Just curious if by chance you still have any laying around that you would be willing to sell. I tried to PM you but it would not allow. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
