I have severe pitting where my angle strips were after i removed them. I think that they are too deep to use filler primer can i just smooth some bondo over and sand it smooth. what is the best way to do this. Also after i have sanded out all of the surface rust is there something that i need to wipe it down with before i prime. any suggestion would be appreciated. thanks
Are you putting angle strips back on? If so, it won't show and in welding the new ones on you will burn up the nearby bondo anyway. Use ZeroRust to keep the rust from coming back.
