It is described as a self-etching sprayable bondo. Some of the local "old timers" have been using it for years with great results. I've seen 15 year-old paint work with no break down. I'm still skeptical...

As far as I know it is a polyester primer (there are many brands)that has some "etching" qualities. I am sure, darn sure that is over blown marketing hype. But it appears to work pretty well.
