Anyone had any experience with Cablex adapters. I can buy an electronic speedometer to match the rest of the Dolphin Gauges in the '48 but the adapter is cheaper.

I have been using one in my Supra/LS1 swap daily driver for over 6 years and no problems. I mounted it on a short 3" long speedo cable straight behind the speedo head. Very low motor load on the Cable-x that way. Response time is slightly slower than mechanical drive, but not a bother.

Found a Dakota Digital unit at half the price of the Cable-x. Ordered it from Yogi's this morning. Will post results after the install.
