Seems like I ought to mount a set of serious side mirrors to make up for windows 4 and 5, which are pretty dim. Were those big rectangular mirrors with the top-to-bottom C-arm mounts original equipment? If so, who sells them. If not, what's a good aftermarket brand?

They were not OE on the AD trucks. Even the big trucks had the small round mirrors, and they were standard on the pickups up until 72, when they were replaced by small rectangular car mirrors.
