John and I have swapped some rear axle gears with a guy in Oklahoma. I have some and John has some that all need to go in the same crate for return to OK, the sooner the better.

Ideally I'd get John's 2 sets of gears here at my place so I can ship them off. Or I have a small pallet size crate (with 2 sets of gears already in it) that could go to John's and he could ship them.

Each gear set weighs something less than 100 lb and about the size of a large watermelon, not any trouble to put in the trunk or back seat of a car.

I'd be happy to meet somewhere an hour or two from home to facilitate the exchange. Or this could be done in stages, a parts relay.

Thanks,
Grigg

Grigg, are you expecting to see Cosmo anytime soon? A relay between you, Cosmo, me, and John either way can be figured out rather quickly.

I'd like to get my 52 rolling again Saturday, have large Forklift this weekend only to help move it around, pick it up and set the axle under it.
Just an idea.

John

Today or Monday works, I will be at a family party Saturday. I was planning to come over this morning to drop my parts off at Wagners, but work is getting in the way.

Lets do a swap!

Grigg,

At the moment, I am waiting Sweet's signal to launch. I will be meeting him in a bit.

Here's what's coming to you

Plus a winch ... smile

Thanks,

Anyone available there may be some red ODSS jackets at Base Camp at high noon tomorrow.

How big and heavy is the winch, will it easily fit in my car?
If Fastenal is going to be open tomorrow I'll bring trailer and crate to drop off full of diffs after lunch.
If they won't be open i'd like to slide crate of 2 diffs (how long?) and winch in the car, no trailer. If won't fit I better bring the trailer...

Mikey, we're not all riding along wearing t-shirts and shorts sitting on hay bales in the bed of Dempsey! LOL!

John, we'd be riding along comfortably within the slip-stream of an Advance Design Truck ?!

Yesterday was a good time. Got up and hit the road across Lake Anna and down to the Presidential Compound. Picked up the President and we were on the DB grounds just at high noon.

This visit to DB was quite different. First of all it was 20 degrees outside plus windchill, so no cornhole or outdoor activities.

Mr. President and I sat down at the bar and minutes later Grigg arrives. We grab a table and have a great lunch with DB's best to wash it down.

Finished lunch and placed the cargo in its rightful crate for shipping.

Relay complete.....

Well almost complete.
I dropped off the crate at Fastenal and the last leg of the relay will be under way any time now, headed back to Oklahoma.

Thanks again guys, and great to see y'all!
