Has any one here used the Door Weatherstrip Kits from Chevy Duty? and the Truck Rubber Kits? You have any problems with them?

RHuddle56,

Just in case you are not looking at posts in the Lounge because most of the posts there have degraded into political drivel, here a discussion you might have missed: http://www.stovebolt.com/bboard/cgi-bin//ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=010919

RH,

I ordered the ChevyDuty kit you are talking about and, so far, it has worked very well. The only seal I have not installed yet is the door weatherstrip iteself. The vent window rubber, the door channels, etc... all worked great. I have never used Steele Rubber, but have a catalog. It was very hard for me to justify paying more than 2x the amount for a rubber seal and the ones I received seem to work great as it is.

I think Alan Horvath posted something on door weatherstripping not too long ago. I think he said his LMC weatherstripping didn't fit right (wrong size?) but that Chevy Duty's fit great. If you order from them, I hope you get quicker delivery. I've been waiting 2 weeks for an order from them. If something is in stock, I expect it in 5 business days.
