I have bought a 40 chevy nose section for my 39 GMC but now have found that the chrome piece above the grill does not match. Will a 40 GMC mix and match with the chevy pieces?

my truck is a chevy and i have an extra gmc nose piece .i tried the gmc and as i remember it didnt line up with the grill support either.i was hoping to use the gmc because it is in better shape than the chevy but both need paint or chrome. i don't have a grill yet but you just answered my question.guess i can't use it.

all that might fit.. i thought you were talking about the top of the grill, ect.. but you would have to change all of it... this subject has been discussed before..
