For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 135 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 135 | In my excitement to start my freshly rebuilt 216 I managed to cause quite a bit of damage to the starter armature. Video evidence shows I did not release the starter lever until the "POP" and the engine died. I can see 4-5 wires from the armature broken and a bit distorted. Can these antique armatures be repaired by typical starter repair shops?
*The engine was running pretty nicely before this happened*
