I am getting my single barrel Rochester carb rebuilt by a local hot rodder here in Pennsylvania. Are there any special instructions I need to give to him like float or other settings?

What year, size truck, and brand of carburetor?

Yes, a rebuilder would need some settings, and would need to know what rebuild parts set to buy.
