The originals are a very hard-maybe plastic material with a hex hole. The new ones I just got are rubber with round hole and they dont want to even try to fit. Is there a source for the originals or does everyone just make the round rubber ones work? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 | The original ones were soft when they were put on. Just work them on, they're tight because the hex keeps them from turning.

I have however had enough experience with repop parts in general to form the opinion that 'replacement' parts are too often just something close to the original that can be made to work with enough effort. All too often it's that or do without because there's just not enough demand to warrant the expense of producing an exact replica. The unit cost would be so high that no one would buy them.
