Hey All,

Can someone tell me where I can find the rear end vent on my 1959 Chevy truck?

Also where can I find the markings so I cant tell if it is original.

Thanks in advance

I don't have a 59, but it should be at a point that is at least as high as the top of one of the axle tubes. It may have a kind of loose cap on it or it may have a hose going up to the frame and then have a kinda loose cap on it. I guess it could even be on the top of the diff housing, but that would be a new on on me. If you see none of the above...make sure it isn't missing. Make sure there isn't an open hole on the top of one of the axle tubes.

As far as being original. From what I know it should look like this one, and the rear cover will have 10 bolts and the front section will also be removable with 10 bolts.

Hey Guys,

Sorry it took so long but playtime is hard to come by.
I got some pictures but no vent.

If this doesn't look original maybe someone might know what it might be from. It has drums and they are the same size and six lugs like the front.
