What type of finish did the interior's of these trucks originally have? Gloss or mat? I purchased some pulsar gray acrylic enamel gray from classic parts and recently started spraying the interior. It lays out nicely however once it dry's the shine flattens out. Is this correct? What are most people using in there trucks? Base coat / clear coat or acrilyic enamel? Thanks for the info.

We used a flattening agent to achieve semi-gloss with the PPG DCC single stage urethane. 1954 Chevrolet Suburban - Pulsar Gray.

The Dupont code is shown here.

I used PPG DCC paint and had no code; but, I had enough "protected paint" under a seat frame. PPG made a match for me. Send me a PM on Sun/Mon to remind me to look for the code.
