| | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 | Knowing that the 60+ yr old paper phenolic is very brittle, I was patiently trying to attach the new harnesses (cloth) and tuck everything in so the cover would go on. Still managed to crack it. Bottom connectors for the heavy horn wires.
I'm sure somebody else must have had to replace one.
Can't find any suppliers listing a replacement for that year, did I miss someone?
I'm guessing it will be faster and less expensive to mill a new board from much stronger glass/epoxy phenolic.
