Hey all
Hope your day is good on this rainy English morning 😊

I know there are other posts about this and I'm sorry but I'm still stuck.
I know the felted corrugated channels get fixed in with dealer and screws but where do the small felted strip and the big rubber strip go?

Many thanks
Mr negus

The small felted strip is what we call a "whisker". It prevents the glass from touching any metal as it goes up and down. This from a fellow Bolter may be helpful: http://www.alanhorvath.com/54chevy/windowfelts.php
The rubber strip fits into a channel in the outer part of the door. Description does leave something to be desired. No vent window in your truck so some things are a bit different. But most will apply. Thanks to Allen for the tips.

I'm needing these strips for mine,I just wondered if you got them from the States or here in Blighty.

Hey bud

I actually got it from the guy I bought the truck off. Who I believe got it from America. I don't know where you can get a replacement rubber just from. Are you after the kit or just that rubber bit.

I've got the felts etc,i'm just missing the lower 'scraper' rubber just inside the doors.

Actually since typing my question my priorities have changed slightly Jake.
I stuffed the truck into the barrier on a dual carriageway on Christmas eve!
Draughty doors are the least of my worries right now! drive
But thanks anyway.

Haha,I wasn't exactly the life and soul of the party that's for sure.

I haven't fully assessed the damage but the worst of the impact seems confined to the right front corner, the door gap on the cab is OK etc.
The back fender is dinged too but a good hammer and dolly man will whip that into shape no problem.
Something's moved/bent on the front suspension too...

I'm currently too sore to go into the garage and look but i'm pretty sure it's repairable.....
There's a thread on the Greasy Spoon showing the damage.
Look for the thread heading. "Ouch". grin
