They are not being reproduced, so unless you can find an NOS one, a new one is out. They were painted rather than plated so restoring one is relatively easy.If you don't have one, they come up occasionally on eBay. They were painted the same color as the steering wheel with the recessed GMC logo filled in red. Here is a picture of mine.
horn button In restoring mine, I first painted it the steering wheel color then filled the logo area. I used a a combination of two red One Shot signs painter's enamels on mine. The red should match the red fill on your hub caps and trim badges. Any mistakes in applying the fill can easily be wiped away before the paint dries or lightly sanded after. I then applied a clear coat over everything to hide any brush marks.
